This Prestige Lakeside Habitat Villa Property at Varthur, Bangalore is designed as a primary home for an NRI family who just returned back to Bangalore. This interior design is a statement in Blue and White with a dash of Grey. All muted subtle European shades have been used to accentuate the beauty of the Foyer, Living and Dining Area. This is one of our signature minimalist contemporary interior designs. The muted Blues and Greys balance the bright white spaces in this design. There is ample daylight percolating through large windows, and we always play with subdued hues to make the interiors look more spacious. The feeling of such balanced designs and color combinations only adds more positively to the whole design.

Once we enter the foyer there is a massive shoe rack that is multifunctional and houses even old newspapers, magazines and raincoats, etc. Sufficient storage has been provided to ensure the functional aspect of the design. The huge painting hung on the wall of the passage depicting the peony flowers is a relief to the monochromatic Grey passage wall.

The entrance of the house opens up to a wider-spaced living room and a cool spaced dining area. Once you walk into the long corridor leading to the Living room, you can visualize a stark contrast created by the designer sofa in velvet blue color as against the stone textured T.V. backdrop. The blue leather panel has adorned the wall of the living room. These leather wall panel collections exude an irresistible luxury where the designs are playful and lighthearted, yet indisputably stylish.

The semi-see through partition design renders privacy to the living room. The interior design is judiciously done to continue the flow of the spaces through niches and also to use those niches to house some designer artifacts collected by the client from all over the globe. She is an avid traveler and her needs and choices are kept in mind while designing her abode.

Moving into the dining area interior design, we wanted the space to flow into the kitchen, so we broke a part of the wall connecting the dining with the kitchen and converting it into a breakfast counter for a quick grab during busy mornings. We have put an imported Italian pristine white dining table with leather dining chairs all in pastel shades. The six seated dining table makes an ideal place for a cozy dinner and the glass chandelier lights hanging from above make the interiors look more vibrant. The whole space has mood lights and crystal lights.

We have given a spacious kitchen for the family. The under-counter storage cabinets of the kitchen have got the soft closing shutters for making the handling smoother and easier. The kitchen is provided with an open utility design, so we continued the same interior design theme of the kitchen into the Utility storage design as well. With ease, we have a mixed style, elegance, and functionality.

The guest bedroom on the ground floor of this Prestige Villa has a beautiful window overlooking the garden opposite to it. This bedroom headboard backdrop has a handwoven texture imported from Europe in subtle shades of Grey. The dark wooden floor adds depth to the whole interior design.

The first floor Family Living room also serves as a study. It has a beautiful backdrop of natural stone in shades of Grey and Beige. Casual loose seating in the darker gray fabric is provided to accentuate the interiors of the room. Coming to the Master bedroom, the back panel of the bed headboard has a handmade natural stone cladding. Along with it, the king-size bed has been provided in a shade of Greyish Blue. Each backdrop wall has a story to entail – the story of beauty and the story of elegance. The beautiful chandelier hanging in the master bedroom makes the whole interior look rich and classy. The mood lights in between highlight the whole wall design in a wonderful dynamic manner.

The roman blinds pair up well with the entire set up. Master Bedroom has a separate walk-in wardrobe and dresser area. The wardrobes with soft closing Aristo shutters and loft for additional storage give a long and sturdy-feeling. Wardrobe internals has all the necessary accessories. The dresser area has a full-length mirror design. The opposite TV wall is painted in a darker shade of blue to balance the white spaces around. The combination of white and blue gives the whole space a soothing touch and complements the look with the decor.

The kids’ room is designed with a loft where the kids can do their crafts or study. The steep height of the sloped roof is used to the advantage of interior design. There is a bay window seating provided in between the wardrobes for the kids. The wooden floor design makes the room more children friendly, as it minimizes the chances of their getting hurt by falling down or slipping off accidentally.
